TYPO3 backup of your website
With regular TYPO3 backups, you are always on the safe side.
Customers often ask me how they can protect themselves against the worst-case scenario of a hacked TYPO3 site or a total crash of the provider's server.
In both cases, you should keep a backup in a completely different location—e.g., on your own computer—which you can restore in an emergency.
But:

To be able to restore a TYPO3 system that can be reproduced at any time, you only need to take two steps to create a complete backup:

- create a backup of the database and
- back up the files
If you regularly back up your website, you can restore a defective TYPO3 system at any time. In addition, you can also use it to move your TYPO3 system to another host or create a copy for an update.
